The story begins with Hotel Transylvania thriving under Mavis and Johnny’s management. However, Dracula, now semi-retired, feels a sense of restlessness. With his daughter and son-in-law running things smoothly, Drac begins to wonder if his best days are behind him. He misses the excitement of being in charge and longs for a new adventure.
Meanwhile, an ancient invitation arrives at the hotel, summoning all the great monster leaders to a legendary, secret Monster Summit that takes place only once every century. The summit is said to be a gathering where the most powerful monsters meet to discuss the future of the monster world. Curious and eager for a new thrill, Drac decides to attend, bringing along his family and friends — including the always-hilarious Frankenstein, Wayne the werewolf, Murray the mummy, and Griffin the invisible man.
However, the summit turns out to be far more dangerous than expected. A mysterious villain known only as “The Phantom” emerges, with a plan to turn all monsters back into humans. The Phantom’s goal is to make monsters forget their heritage and power, erasing the legacy of creatures like Dracula and his friends.
As the group works together to stop this new threat, they must also rediscover what it means to be monsters and why their unique identities are worth preserving. Along the way, Dracula learns that his most important role is no longer as the hotel’s ruler, but as the head of his beloved family.

About: Hotel Transylvania is an American animated media franchise created by comedy writer Todd Durham. It consists of four films, three graphic novels, and three short films produced by Sony Pictures Animation, as well as a flash-animated TV series broadcast on Disney Channel and several video games.
